Generation Common Good Leaders
Building off the previous work of the team at UnKoch My Campus, Generation Common Good cultivates Common Good Leaders with the expressed goal to reclaim the institution of higher education from corporations for the people and the planet.
We Block, Broaden, and Build
Through grassroots campus-based organizing and leadership development, we build resistance and advocacy campaigns that block corporate interests and build power for students, the campus community, and the planet. Our campus campaigns look different at each campus, but share a unified vision and principles.
-
We know that the institution of higher education can does reproduce classist outcomes and undermines equality. It doesn't have to be that way. We can reclaim higher education from corporations and private interests and transform our campus communities to be sites of safety, dignity, and belonging.
-
Our organizing and power-building strategy is intergenerational. You do not have to be a student to join the work. We have educators, alumni, and campus community members who anchor common good campaigns.
